CRIME: ARMED ROBBERY OF A POSTAL CARRIER
CRIME SCENE: OAK CIRCLE, POINCIANA (KISSIMMEE)

The Polk County Sheriff's Office and agents from the United States Postal Inspection Service are investigating an armed robbery of a postal carrier that occurred on August 1, 2024 at around 3:04 pm, on Oak Circle in Poinciana (Kissimmee).
The masked suspect ran toward the mail carrier, fell and got back up, pointed a gun at the victim, and demanded her universal key.
After handing her key over to the suspect, the suspect fled the area.
The universal key is used to unlock mailboxes.

The mail carrier, who was not injured in the robbery, described the suspect as a black male, possibly in his early 20s, and about 150-pounds. He was wearing what appeared to be a t-shirt over his face with holes cut out for the mouth and eyes.
The US Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
