The Polk County Sheriff's Office is hosting a job fair on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the PCSO Sheriff's Operations Center, 1891 Jim Keene Blvd, Winter Haven. 

Human Resources representatives will be onsite to process applications and answer questions. All qualified applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment that same day. 

For existing sworn law enforcement officers who wish to transfer, we are offering a hiring bonus, we pay up to $5,000 of moving costs, or if the applicant lives in one of the 10 neighboring counties he or she can take their agency vehicle home.

Starting pay for a deputy sheriff is $54,851.*
